Depending on the situation, you may want to freeze the image on the screen or switch off the Touch function.

Freeze Screen

This function allows you to freeze the image on the ActivPanel.

When it is turned on, the image displayed will remain fixed on the ActivPanel screen only, until the function has been turned off.

NB: On the ActivPanel Elements Series and the ActivPanel Titanium Pro, only external sources can be frozen, e.g. ActivConnect OPS-G.

Using Freeze Screen will not affect the image on the computer screen connected to the ActivPanel nor the computer mouse. You will still be able to use the mouse on the computer screen. Touch inputs from the ActivPanel will still appear on the computer screen.

You will find the Freeze Screen function on the ActivPanel remote control.

Touch Off

This function allows you to disable the touch layer of the ActivPanel completely. When it is enabled, the ActivPanel will no longer be interactive.

This does not freeze the image displayed on the ActivPanel, nor does it affect the computer mouse. You will still be able to use the computer mouse and see it moving on the ActivPanel.

If it is available on your model of ActivPanel, you will find the Touch Off button on the front of the ActivPanel. For the ActivPanel 4.5, it is also located on the remote control.
